Gross Motor skills
Some indicators that your child could benefit from an Occupational Therapy assessment:

-
not achieving gross motor developmental milestones: head control when placed on tummy, rolling, sitting, crawling
-
falls more often than peers
-
bumps in to people or things regularly
-
poor coordination of upper limbs and/ or lower limbs
-
has not developed dominant hand by the age of 6
-
tires easily
-
struggles to stay in an upright seated posture when sitting at table
-
scared of swings/ slides
-
avoids sports or PE type activities: star jumps, ball games, hopping
